"Configuration block version 0 is not a valid version number. SQL Server is exiting. Restore the master database or reinstall."
I'm not a developer and can't program my way out of paper bag. What can be done to remedy this error that won't involve me relearning all the CIS languages I took 20 years ago in college? I have tried re-installing, but it didn't fix the error, so it must have to do with the fact that I upgraded my laptop and transferred my files from the old one.
It is a SQL 2005-based database that stores my movie catalog locally for an iPhone app.
I have read the other posts that ask the same question, but the solutions were not viable in my situation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
