Hi :
In an environment where there is a relational database in use as well as the analysis services databases, the recommended architecture is to store the relational database on one server and the analysis services database on another server.
So if I purchase SQL Server 2012 enterprise edition, can I install the Database engine on Server 1 and the Analysis Services on Server 2 using the same license key ? Or does it need me to purchase two separate licenses ?
I need a very urgent answer to this as we are close to deciding on SQL and this seems to be a very big limitation.
