Hello All,
I'm new to SQL and MS SQL Server. I'm attempting to set up a basic database on my PC so that I can start learning to work with TSQL.
I've apparently installed MS SQL Server 2008 SP3 on my PC (downloaded the x64 executable, ran it and seemingly successfully installed the program).
When I open the MS SQL Server 2008 folder in the start window of Windows 7, I only have the choice of "Import and Export Tool (32 bit)" or a folder called "Configuration Tools" with various options within it.
What is the next step? Do I need to configure a database on my machine?
My goal is to be able to work with some basic database files so that I can start learning how to work with SQL. What MS SQL Server tool do I actually use to work with the database?
I've not found anything great online yet. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! :)
